The FSTAR website is a single point of access to fire and emergency service research through a searchable database.

Research-based fact sheets for the fire and emergency service

Research can positively impact every aspect every aspect of the fire and emergency service.

But only if the wealth of data and lessons in technical documentation can be effectively connected with the operations of departments and emergency response—the on- and off-scene actions from the rookie to the chief, and the decisions of policy makers at all levels.

The IAFC's Research Center makes research readily available as tools and training to bridge this gap for busy personnel.
